In this delightful arrangement, you become the superhero family for one of our Goldendoodles. Your new furry family member lives with you, enjoying all the love, cuddles, and adventures you can provide. Meanwhile, the Perks Court Doodles takes care of the breeding-related aspects, ensuring top-notch health and genetics.

• Home Sweet Home: Your job is to create a cozy haven for your Goldendoodle buddy, filled with belly rubs, playtime, and wagging tails. The guardian family provides a nurturing environment, including appropriate shelter, food, exercise, grooming, and healthcare.

• Training Adventures: Join the fun as you guide your Goldendoodle through basic training, helping them become the best-behaved pup on the block! The guardian family ensures the dog receives basic training, such as obedience commands, socialization, and manners. This helps the dog develop into a well-behaved companion.

• Health & Happiness: Keep the tail wagging with regular vet check-ups and plenty of TLC.  The guardian family is responsible for routine veterinary care, including vaccinations, regular check-ups, and emergency care if needed. Perks Court Doodles covers any breeding-related health tests.

• Stay Connected: Share the love! Keep us in the loop with updates on your Goldendoodle's health and happiness. The guardian family maintains open communication with the breeder, providing updates on the dog's health, behavior, and general well-being.

• Breed-tastic Duties: Your Goldendoodle will occasionally visit Perks Court Doodles for breeding purposes, ensuring future generations of adorable pups! Periodically, we will request the dog for breeding purposes. The guardian family must cooperate, ensuring the dog is available for breeding when necessary. Typically, the dog returns to the breeder for breeding-related appointments and stays during heat cycles or for mating.

• Fur-ever Friend: Experience the joy of a furry companion without the upfront costs. It's a win-win for your heart and your wallet! The guardian family enjoys the companionship of a wonderful dog without the financial burden of purchasing a high-quality breeding prospect.

• Purposeful Partnership: Join forces with the breeder to champion the Goldendoodle breed's health and happiness. By participating in a guardian home program, the family plays an essential role in preserving and improving the breed's quality, health, and temperament.

• Supportive Community: Enjoy guidance and support from seasoned breeders who are passionate about raising happy, healthy Goldendoodles. The guardian family receives guidance and support from tPerks Court Doodles, who will share their extensive experience in raising and caring for the breed. We will educate guardian homes on how to detect a heat cycle and how to care for a pregnant dog. Perks Court Doodles pays for all breeding expenses, genetic testing, orthopedic evaluations, and progesterone testing.

• Involvement & Rewards: Be part of the breeding journey and reap the rewards outlined in your guardian home agreement, which includes compensation for each successful litter produced during your contract term. Once the dog is retired, after being spayed or neutered, full ownership is transferred to the guardian. PCD provides lifetime support for the dog and be willing to take the dog back at any time.

• Possess prior experience with dogs, either through personal upbringing or family involvement.
• Have a fully fenced in yard (although exceptions can be discussed).
• Ensure that your dog is welcomed as an indoor member of your household.
• Provide regular TLC: vaccinations, worming, wellness check-ups, top-notch food, supplements, and grooming.
• Keep records of your pup's medical care.
• Reside within a comfortable 1 hour drive from Clayton, Ohio 45415.
• Be available to shuttle your dog to and from Perks Court Doodles for breeding with just a day's notice, and for expecting mothers, return the dog about a week before whelping.
• Must avoid taking your dog to a dog park or allowing them off-leash while outdoors off of your personal property.
• Teach your dog manners through obedience training.
• Have your pup potty-trained and crate-trained by six months.
• Ensure the dog avoids contact with all other intact dogs during heat cycles.
• Stay in touch with Perks Court Doodles, sharing updates on your puppy's progress or your joy in adopting an older dog.
• Show us your furry friend fitting into your family with updates, photos, and texts! And don't hesitate to reach out if any serious health concerns arise.
• Commit to staying within a 1 hour drive from Dayton, OH for the next 4-5 years without any intentions of relocating further away. Please consider that if a move becomes necessary, the dog will need to be returned to Perks Court Doodles.
