Bringing home a Goldendoodle puppy is an exciting journey, and at Perks Court Doodles, we make the process simple, transparent, and supportive from start to finish. As a trusted Goldendoodle breeder in Ohio, our goal is to ensure every family feels confident, informed, and prepared.

COMPLETE OUR PUPPY APPLICATION

The first step is to fill out our puppy questionnaire so we can learn more about your family, lifestyle, and what you're looking for in a Goldendoodle puppy.

Once submitted, we review each application carefully to ensure a great match between our puppies and their future families.

APPLICATION APPROVAL

After reviewing your application, we will reach out to confirm approval and answer any questions you may have.

At this time, you’ll also be invited to join our Reservation List if we believe we are a good fit for one another.

Joining Our Puppy Family 

Once you’ve completed our Puppy Application, we take time to carefully review your information to ensure each puppy is placed in a loving, well-matched home. If we feel it’s a good fit, we’ll reach out to invite you to join our Reservation List - the next step toward bringing home a Perks Court Doodles Goldendoodle puppy.

How the Reservation List Works

To join the Reservation List, you will complete your Reservation List Agreement through your account on our website. After logging in, you’ll find it under FORMS → CONTRACTS.

To officially reserve your place, we require:

• A signed Reservation List Agreement
• A $500 non-refundable Reservation List Fee

Your Reservation List Fee is applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy.

Selection Order & Timing

Your place on the Reservation List is determined by the order in which Reservation List Agreements are signed and Reservation List Fees are received.

This order determines the sequence in which families will select their puppy from current or upcoming litters with available spots.

Important Reservation Details

• The $500 Reservation List Fee is non-refundable
• The only exception is if no puppy becomes available within 12 months of your payment
• In that case, you may choose a full refund or remain on the list for a future litter

Not Ready to Join the Reservation List?

That’s perfectly okay! You are still welcome to inquire about available puppies outside the Reservation List.

Please note that Reservation List families receive first selection priority for all litters with available spots.

THE HARDEST PART… WAITING FOR YOUR PUPPY!

We know this is the most exciting (and often the most difficult) part of the journey: waiting for your Goldendoodle puppy to be ready to come home.

During this time, we stay connected with our families through regular photo updates, sweet videos, and helpful preparation tips so you can feel confident and excited as you get ready for your new puppy.

Puppy Temperament Testing

This stage is where we begin thoughtfully matching each puppy with their future family. Around 7 weeks of age, each puppy undergoes Volhard’s Puppy Aptitude Test, a trusted temperament evaluation used to better understand each puppy’s individual personality.

This helps us thoughtfully match each puppy with the family that best fits their temperament, energy level, and lifestyle- setting both puppy and family up for long-term success.

Here's a few things to do before the BIG day....

• Before puppy pickup day, please review  Purchase Agreement | Spay/Neuter Contract

• Pick up a crate for your puppy to sleep in. (See Puppy Guide for more information)

🐾 Puppy Pickup Day is HERE! 🐾

Your wait is over! Today is the exciting day you get to come pick up your new family member!

You will be assigned a scheduled time slot to visit our home and meet the puppies that best match your family’s preferences and lifestyle.

During your visit, you will have up to one (1) hour to spend time with the available puppies. We will guide you through the selection process to help match your family with the puppy whose temperament and needs align best with yours, as well as what is best for the puppy.

Please be mindful of the one-hour time limit so that each family has a relaxed and unhurried experience.

A Few Helpful Tips for Your Visit

If children are coming with you, we recommend they wear long pants, as puppies can be very playful and their nails may be surprising for little ones during excited interactions.

When meeting multiple puppies at once, it can also be a very exciting (and sometimes overwhelming) experience. Puppies are active, curious, and eager for attention, so we encourage families- especially children- to take their time, stay calm, and enjoy getting to know each puppy’s unique personality.

Final Payment...

We accept cash and all major credit cards, no checks. Full payment must be paid at the time of pickup. 

With a Reservation List Fee of $500 applied toward the total price, the remaining balance due at pickup is $2,500 (plus a 3% applicable credit card processing fees).
