          Tip of the Day.... Never wake a sleeping puppy. Just like a baby, they need lots of sleep to grow healthy and strong.

          Puppies First Time Eating Puppy Mush

          They all figured it out right away!

          At 3.5 weeks old we introduce puppy mush, which is puppy food ground to a bread crumb consistency, and add water, goats milk or puppy milk replacement. Sometimes we have to help new puppies figure out how to eat it by putting a tiny bit on the roof out their mouth. But not this litter! They  dove right in and figured it out after 1 sniff and needless to say loved it! 

          Full Bellies = Sleepy Puppies

          After their first solid food meal, these 2 fell right asleep. Sleeping puppies are the cutest, even though they're going to need a bath after the mess they made. 

          Puppy Training has begun...

          What's "Puppies, Puppies, Puppies!" all about?

          We've just started training the puppies to respond to hearing "puppies, puppies, puppies!" as a recall response to help their new families if for any reasons they get too far away and need to recall them before they learn their new names. It's not only a training exercise, but a safety precaution.
